Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer discounts for families?

Yes! We want Gatherwell to be something families can enjoy together.

Household sibling discount: Receive 10% off each additional child from the same household when registering for the same gathering.

We also offer a Gatherwell Membership, which provides 15% off eligible Gatherwell gatherings throughout the month.

Do parents have to stay?

It depends on the gathering and the age of the participant. Some experiences are designed for children to participate independently while parents enjoy some time nearby, while others are intended for families to experience together.

You are always welcome to pull up a chair, enjoy the space, and gather with us.

There will be a table waiting for you to join others and relax, or you can grab a dessert and catch up on emails. Either way, you are welcome!

What should I expect when I come to Gatherwell?

Expect something a little different from a traditional class or kids’ activity. Gatherings may include creating, problem-solving, learning a practical skill, playing, conversation, food, or simply making room to slow down.

You don’t have to be creative. You don’t have to be “good” at anything. You just have to come curious.

Our hope is that you leave thinking:

“ I didn’t realize how much I needed that.”

How is Gatherwell different from other community programs?

Gatherwell is designed for exploration without long-term commitment. Our gatherings will cover a wide variety of creative, practical, playful, and life-skills topics, giving kids, teens, and adults opportunities to try something new without having to sign up for an entire season or commit to one particular interest.

And sometimes trying something new is just the beginning. If a gathering sparks an interest in something that can be explored more deeply through another local organization, library program, 4-H, or community opportunity, we’ll point you in that direction.

Think of Gatherwell as a place to discover what you enjoy, learn something new, and find your next thing.

Will any gatherings be free?

Yes! From time to time there will be gatherings that are of great benefit to the community at large and will be made available free of charge through the generosity of local sponsors.

How often are gatherings scheduled?

As of opening, kids’ gatherings will be scheduled every Monday afternoon. Younger children: 4:00-5:00pm and Older Children: 5:15- 6:15pm.

Teen and Adult Gatherings will be held on a rotating monthly basis depending on the schedule of The Flour Shop. We are grateful for being able to meet in a such a wonderful space and want to be respectful of the owner’s times and business priorities. Stay tuned for the addition of gatherings as schedules allow.
